→ Nasal fibers gets damaged
→ Caused by Optic Chiasmal lesion → Pituitary adenoma (Most common)
Binasal Hemianopia @1:52
→ Both the temporal fibers gets damaged (Rarely seen)
Right Sided Homonymous Hemianopia @2:21
→Homonymous = Corresponds to each other
In left eye → Left temporal fibers are damaged
In left eye → Left temporal fibers are damaged
→ Seen in left optic tract lesion (Most common)***
[Any post chiasmal lesion on left side can cause Right Homonymous Hemianopia]***
→ For all HOMONYMOUS HEMIANOPIA, LESION WILL BE IN OPPOSITE OPTIC TRACT***

→BILATERAL DEFECTS ARE DUE TO C/L CHIASMATIC OR POST CHIASMATIC LESIONS.

→ Right Homonymous superior quadrantanopia / Right PIE IN THE SKY
→ Inferior fibers are damaged
→ Inferior fibers are passed through temporal lobe.
→ Left temporal lobe lesion causes it.
