SMALLRIG SSD Holder 2-in-1 SSD Mount Bracket for MagSafe with Cold Shoe Cable Clamp, Compatible with 0.3-0.6in Thick SSDs for Samsung T5 T7 SSD, for SanDisk SSD, Compatible Cage - 4779

This aluminum bracket will screw clamp any object between 0.3-0.6" in width and mount it to anything with a camera cold shoe mounting point, or a MagSafe "circle" magnetic mount. If your cell phone or other device does not include a MagSafe "circle", they also include a stick on magsafe type mounting circle (which weights 0.92 oz).

The bracket is well made and has a clamp for both the SSD as well as a smaller clamp inside the base to secure a USB cable as it leaves your SSD.
The magnetic attachment is very strong, and should be plenty for most small SSD's or thin and light external power banks.

The camera cold shoe attachment slides off (to free up the MagSafe mounting circle) with the press of a button.

My only complaint is that the bracket is heavy. The included stick on "steel ring" weights in at 0.92oz, so if you were to permenantly stick it to a phone or other device it would add almost an once of weight.

The bracket with the cold shoe attachment weights in a 3.67 oz, which doesn't sound like a lot, except that the 2TB Sandisk SSD I'm using it with weights in at under 2oz, so the bracket weights almost twice what my SDD weights. Now if you take the cold shoe mount off, just the bracket (as you would attach it to a magsafe cell phone) only weights 2.89 oz. [Which is still more than my SSD.]

I'm going to be using this bracket with a laptop, where the total added weight is smaller by percentage when compared to the entire package weight. I could see using it on a larger DSLR, but if you stick it to your cell phone, expect the bracket and SSD to be a large percentage of the total "in-hand" weight.

At this price point, it feels like you are getting a good deal for the quality and functionality it provides.
