In this video we show you how to connect to a folder in Power BI Desktop. This type of data connection is really handy when you have multiple Excel or CSV tables that are structured exactly the same. For example, let's say you have quarterly expense reports that get added to a folder. Each quarter you add a new Excel file with the latest quarterly expenses. By connecting directly to this folder your data model and visualizations will update with the latest quarterly table, even though you did not explicitly connect to this new table that was added to the folder.
