Cambridge Checkpoint is a series of assessments designed for use in the final year of primary and secondary education. It provides schools with an international benchmark to evaluate student performance and identify areas for improvement. The Cambridge Checkpoint program consists of two levels: Cambridge Primary Checkpoint for students aged 5 to 11 years old, and Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint for students aged 11 to 14 years old.
The assessments cover various subjects, including English, English as a Second Language, Mathematics, Science, and Global Perspectives. The tests are fully marked by Cambridge International, and the results are given as Cambridge Checkpoint scores. These scores help teachers identify specific difficulties students may have with certain topics.
Cambridge Checkpoint offers several benefits, including preparation for International GCSEs (IGCSEs), recognition by universities and employers worldwide, and a wide and flexible syllabus. It is considered one of the largest educational programs offered globally by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE)
