Welcome, friends 🌿
Today begins with a simple trip home from the grocery store and a warm cup of tea while we wait for the morning sun to chase away the chill.
As the day unfolds, we create kindness rocks using tracing paper, proving that even the simplest materials can become something beautiful. Later, a hearty seafood bake fills the kitchen with comfort, bringing together potatoes, corn, sausage, salmon, shrimp, and spices for a meal meant to be shared.
A vintage teddy bear is given a new purpose as a handmade plastic bag holder, reminding us that old things still have value when seen with fresh eyes. We also visit our local thrift store in search of a quilt for the young boy who visits us, hoping to find something practical, cozy, and loved.
The next day, we leave the painted kindness rocks along a woodland trail. We may never know who finds them, but kindness often works that way. A small gesture, offered freely, can brighten a stranger's day and quietly remind them that they matter.
Thank you for spending part of your day with us. Wherever you are in the world, I hope you find moments of peace, purpose, and simple joy.
With love from our home to yours 🇨🇦
