A Tribute to Nova Scotia
Hi everyone. I’m here for Mom today. Like so many in the Canadalands her heart has been broken and she has the water eyes for the people of Nova Scotia. She asked me to help her send a special message and tell you a story. When my Mom was 17-a hundred years ago-she went to University of New Brunswick. In her freshman year there was a liquor strike in NB so she and her friends took the ferry over to Yarmouth and filled up their knapsacks with liquor store snacks. That was the first of MANY trips to Nova Scotia! She has lots of great friends from there and they used to sing this song together at the top of their her lungs down at the Riverview Arms. I just learned this but she says a lot of you are going to know this song so if you do, please help me out and sing loud or tap your paws. To all my Mom’s friends and the people in the Nova Scotialands, we sare whooshing love. ❤️❤️❤️. We may have to be physically apart, but we are together in our hearts.
