Here are some codes to get you started:
#000000 = black
#ffffff = white
#888888 = grey
#ff0000 = red
#ff8800 = orange
#ffff00 = yellow
#88ff00 = chartreuse (lime green)
#00ff00 = green
#00ff88 = teal
#00ffff = cyan
#0088ff = sky blue
#0000ff = blue
#8800ff = purple/violet (whatever people call it nowadays)
#ff00ff = magenta
#ff0088 = candy red
Here is a short tutorial for those that are interested in learning color codes:
1) Color codes are 6 digits.
2) Each digit can range from 0 to f, like 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f
3) Each PAIR of digits represents a color component, like this: RRGGBB (R=red, G=green, B=blue)
4) The lower the value, the less of that color (light) is added
5) The higher the value, the brighter that color is.
- increase the value of all three to increase brightness
- decrease to make the color darker
- bring the values close to each other, to reduce the saturation
- make the differences in value more extreme, and you get vibrant colors!
Remember, this is like mixing LIGHT, not paint.
