We came up with the idea for Interior DesignHer during Covid. Our residential interior design business - Robb and Company - was insanely busy as a lot of people were working from home. Sure, we couldn't get appliances and lumber cost a bazillion dollars per foot, but we weren't complaining. Until we became overwhelmed with work & realized that the way we were doing business wasn't working anymore. We needed to improve the business side of our business.
Crunched as we were for time, we hired (poorly), re-hired (slightly better), paid for education, listened & read & studied instead of watching tv & eventually made a bunch of important & effective changes to our BUSINESS.
The idea for Interior DesignHer came after one of us said that "there should be a place where interior designers can learn how to improve their businesses".
We couldn't find one...so we started building one.
