Why Did Ahsoka’s Lightsabers Change Colour?
Most Jedi usually kept the same lightsaber color throughout their lifetimes, but Ahsoka changed her lightsaber color from green, then to blue, and finally to white. The initial green and yellow duel blades were perhaps the best representation of Ahsoka’s force potential, showcasing the wise force wielder she would one day become. According to Dave Filoni, her blue sabers were not actually right for her. They were a gift by Anakin, who changed her sabers to blue to match his own, showing that he cared but also that he could be controlling. The final white color represented her rejection of both the Jedi and her former master, obtaining this colored crystal by draining the dark side from a red inquisitor lightsaber crystal.
