Stabilizing footage in Adobe After Effects can be achieved using the Warp Stabilizer effect. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process:

Import Your Footage:

Open Adobe After Effects and create a new project.
Import the footage you want to stabilize by going to File Import File.
Create a New Composition:

Drag your footage from the Project panel to the New Composition button, or right-click on your footage and select New Comp from Selection.
Apply Warp Stabilizer:

Select your footage in the Timeline panel.
Go to the Effects & Presets panel and search for "Warp Stabilizer."
Double-click on Warp Stabilizer to apply it to your selected footage.
Analyze and Stabilize:

After applying the Warp Stabilizer effect, After Effects will automatically start analyzing your footage. This process may take some time depending on the length and complexity of your footage.
You can monitor the progress in the Effect Controls panel.
Adjust Settings (if needed):

Once the analysis is complete, you can adjust the settings in the Effect Controls panel to fine-tune the stabilization.
Result: Choose between Smooth Motion or No Motion.
Smoothness: Adjust the percentage to control the amount of stabilization.
Method: Select the method of stabilization (Position, Position, Scale, Rotation, Perspective, or Subspace Warp).
Borders: Choose how After Effects handles the borders of the stabilized footage. Options include Stabilize Only, Stabilize, Crop, Stabilize, Crop, Auto-scale, and Stabilize, Synthesize Edges.
Preview Your Stabilized Footage:

Once the stabilization is complete and you’re satisfied with the settings, preview your footage to see the results.
Make any additional adjustments if necessary.
Render Your Stabilized Footage:

When you’re happy with the stabilization, you can render your footage.
Go to Composition Add to Render Queue or use File Export Add to Render Queue.
Adjust the render settings as needed and click Render.
This process should help stabilize your footage and make it look smoother. If you have any specific issues or need further adjustments, you can experiment with the settings in the Warp Stabilizer effect to get the desired results.
