Nested Hyper-V Server (creation of)
In this video I show you how to create a nested hyper-v server. Nested Hyper-V servers are great if you'd like to simulate having two physical Hyper-V servers (things such as failover-clustering and live-migrations).
My need for nested hyper-v server creation came from a non-successful attempt at fail-over clustering as a result of my second hyper-v server (a laptop with 4GB of ram) not being able to cope with the needed resources for virtualizing two servers with 1GB ram each.
With the following setup (splicing my 24GB ram physical hyper-v server) I now have two hyper-v Servers:
1 with effectively 16GB of ram
and the other 8GB of ram
