11 evaluate formula tricks to check/audit in Excel NEW in 2023
To check errors in Excel formulas, there's an all new method. If you select a formula segment (or a function argument), then the intermediate output will show on hover. This is a great improvement over the classic "Evaluate formula" tool which I go through as well for users of older versions.
I go through how to interpret the green triangles error check and investigate circular references, as well as tracing dependents and precendents and some other less know features like go to special to figure out which cells are different from the rest of your column or functions like FORMULATEXT, and ISFORMULA including a way to automatically highlight all cells in your worksheet with formulas in them.
