Van Life Couple Converts Mercedes Sprinter | A Tour with Jess & Mike from Van.There
If you are anyway familiar with the Van Life community then chances are you’ve heard of and probably follow the traveling couple Jess & Mike from the Instagram account @Van.There. If not, then you’re in for a treat as this married couple has been on the road for the past 2 years after converting their Mercedes Sprinter not once but twice!
Jess is one of the founders and creator of the Van Life App which is a source that helps travelers find necessary resources while traveling on the road as well as a place to communicate with like minded individuals. Mike is an artist that started the account @Drawn_There which is an account where he shares some of his sketches from their travels. They also travel with Vinny a 15-year-old chihuahua dog. This family of three is living in there van full-time and is constantly traveling throughout the US sharing tips, sightseeing suggestions and living their best life.
The two of them converted the Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 144 into their custom home on wheels. Mike has a background in architecture and Jess is a jack of all trades so they both spent about a month building this from scratch all on their own. We had the opportunity to meet up with the three of them in Anza Borrego. We explored the desert and got a great van tour of their DIY van.
