Patriotic Dance (Independence Day)
This Dance is Choreographed by Shashank Dahatonde who is a founder of Shashank Dance Troupe (Bhandup). He has achieved many prizes and also Best Choreography Award 2015 from St Xavier's College (Mumbai). He is trained in many dance forms like Hip hop, Contemporary, Salsa, Krump, Locking popping and more.He has completed Diploma in Dance from Mumbai University, and pursuing further studies in Dance.
This Dance was performed by students of N.E.S Jr College (Bhandup) in 2012, choreographed by Shashank sir. This Dance contain basic steps of Lavni Dance, Garba Dance, Tarpa Dance and Patriotic Dance. All the students in this group are Non-dancers and performing for the first time on stage. This Dance was choreographed and executed on stage by Shashank sir within 4 Days.
