How to divide Germany? Alternate Division of Germany
Germany was historically split into East and West for the duration of the Cold War, but aside from politics, this is not the best way to split Germany.
It makes more sense to split them into north and south, or Catholic and Protestant.
The south of Germany wouldn’t get a lot of valuable land, or at least not as valuable as the Rhineland, which would mostly go to North Germany.
