Descript Undo & Version History
Video editing mistakes are easy to fix with Descript undo & Version History. If you know how to use undo in Descript, you know that you can undo your last action and any actions before that, one at a time.
This is really helpful when you make a mistake but it's also really handy because it allows you to TRY something, even if you don't know exactly what it is or how it will turn out, because you know you can always use undo if you don't like the result.

Sometimes I start down a path of editing that turns out badly. But, I've done so many things that I would get a finger-cramp if I tried to get back to a good place by repeatedly clicking undo. Or, when I'm working down a path that ends up bad, I make such a mess that I can't even figure out what's going on! Or, I've closed the program and opened it again, but I don't like the changes I made before I closed it. Undo can't help me there.
That's where Version History comes into play. You can restore a file to a previous point in time of your choice - to get back to a point where you know it was good and resume the editing journey. Version history is made possible because Descript auto-saves in the background and keeps restore points. This is AWESOME if your computer crashes (or the power goes out and shuts down your desktop.) But it also gives you the ability to jump in the time machine and get back to a point in your project that, forever reason, is better than where you are now.
