Hershey Kisses is a beloved chocolate but few know the history behind how Milton Hershey created the chocolate. We take a deep dive into the history as well as how the company market’s Hershey Kisses through the year with different marketing strategies globally. This year around marketing leads to a Hershey’s Conquering Valentine’s Day.
Bio:
Rayfil Wong is an ex food writer for AsianWeek in San Franisco. After graduating from UC Berkeley, he worked for Budweiser in the marketing department. He lead the events team with promoting Budweiser at clubs, King of Comedy tour, as well as NFL and MLB events. Next, he participated on a reality tv show called American Inventor and met judge George Foreman known for his grill. He realised the power of food marketing and branding. He later also became a product model of Apple iPhone which launched in Asia. In the past decade, he has been living in Asia working for media companies. Asian Food Nerd aims to provide stories behind the brands with explainers that are visually appealing.
