Wow this is one of the most impressive levels I have ever seen. This is a slider puzzle implemented in Mario Maker. Basically, a slider puzzle is a (typically) rectangular grid divided into evenly sized squares, with one square missing. You are able to slide one piece to the empty slot, which will create a new empty slot. You can keep doing this to arrange the pieces into a solution. In this case, we want the "pieces" to be arranged to 1,2,3,4,5,blank. This level is well defined and cannot be broken I believe. It will fail if you make an invalid move, and it will not allow you to win unless you have correctly solved the puzzle. The maker, Helgefan has created a Javascript tool to help you keep track of the puzzle, which you see me use in the video.
