The Intensely Detailed Life of a Scarecrow
Chapter 1:
In the sunny world of animalationopolis we find Captain Silver confused and conscious embarking on a new journey…
Rainy days on end, he thought to himself standing on top of an evergreen hill in his black waterproof jacket. “How did I get here?” Captain Silver whispered while eyeing up the blood trickling down his left arm from the paper cuts he received 30 seconds ago. He could’ve sworn that the world looked a lot darker from what felt like only a couple of weeks. Suddenly, the winds turned and the badly drawn residents of animalationopolis scuttled to a different story. Captain Silver felt a small drop of rain crash onto his nose, as he looked up he could see what can only be described as the mother of all storms falling from a black sky and heading rapidly towards him, it was too late to run, the eyes of the storm were staring straight into his, time stood still while in the distance he heard a faint, familiar voice amongst the natural rage, it cried out “another day won’t dull the rain, you’ve got to fight to protect your name”…
