How to get Android 2.2 (Froyo) on HTC Hero
Get froyo onto your gsm hero!

Steps:
1.Download the froyd ROM from link above
2.Put file onto the root of ur phones SD Card
3.Power your phone off
4.Boot into recovery, by holding power and home buttons
5.Nandroid backup (or nand + ext backup)
6.Wipe: data/factory reset, Dalvik cache and Ext partition
7.Flash the ZIP from Sd card
8.Reboot device
9.Smile, pat yourself on the back and Enjoy Android 2.2!!
