A typical winter day on Mount Fumaiolo. A thick mist envelops the mountain, with the sun only breaking through in the late morning. The loop is a classic but always fascinating. In some sections, we struggle with mud, but the park's iconic landmarks—the Sant'Alberico hermitage, the Giuseppe refuge, the source of the Tiber, and the waterfall—make this nearly 19-kilometer trek unique.
