patina pitch
We painted our polyester object with a layer of metallic cream color. After our paint is completely dry, we apply the patina pitch (thinner or turpentine) to the surface you want to wear with a brush.
NOTE: 'I recommend using gloves when painting because it is thick and hard to get out of your hands'.
We use a cotton swab to wipe off the pitch. If you want a light worn look, wipe the cloth you use with the thinner and wipe it.
After our pitch was dry (1-2 hours), I painted the color of metallic honey foam with an antique brush to the places I want to see bright. (you can also apply tumbling powder)
Patina pitch can also be used for furniture aging.
