If your wps button on the router is not working then you need to enable the wps from the router's management page. You can do that simply by logging into your router. Depending upon your router's make and model once logged in go and look for wifi settings or network option. There you will find wps option that might be disabled. Once enabled then you can try the wps setup again on the router.

Lets suppose you want to connect any device to your router using a wps setup be it your phone, extender or any other device and the wps setup isn't working. Then there are 100% chances that the wps option is disabled from your routers admin page.
But the good news is it can enabled very easily. All you have to do it is to login into your router. Now, if you don't know how to login into your router then I have provided a video in the description it will help you.
Now, in order to enable the wps button on the router login into the routers management page. Then look for "wps option" which you can possibly find in wifi settings or network option. Some routers have wps option in advance option. So you will have to play around a bit to find your wps settings.
Once into the wps settings on your router you will see that your wps is disabled. So you just need to click on enable wps and hit save settings.
Congratulations you have enabled the wps on the router. Now you can connect your any device to your router using the wps option.
