Install Java on Windows with Temurin (Java 23 and earlier)
Temurin is the name of a Java distribution controlled by Adoptium (https://adoptium.net/es/), a working group created by the Eclipse Foundation with the support of other vendors to create a neutral Java distribution based on the OpenJDK. If you want to program in Java, for example, you can download the Adoptium JDK (Temurin JDK) to install javac and other tools needed for Java programming. From this website, you can also download the Adoptium JRE (Temurin JRE) if you only need to download a runtime environment to launch Java applications.
