Shiroka Balka is a resort suburb of Novorossiysk, located on the open sea coast 10 km from the city center. This is a small youth resort with a democratic atmosphere. The place is very picturesque: mountains, oak and juniper forests, fragrant air, the cleanest sea. In fact, the village is inhabited only in the summer season, except for the tourist infrastructure and dacha cooperatives there is nothing here: there are no residential areas, enterprises, traffic is minimal even in summer. For those who prefer a secluded quiet holiday, an excellent option would be recreation centers and guest houses located away from the sea in a mountain gorge, where you can enjoy the forest air and coolness. You can also rent housing in private guest houses and mini-hotels located in different parts of the village and neighboring garden associations. The central beach in Shiroka Balka is pebbly, about 1.5 km long, quite wide, there are all the necessary amenities and additional services: umbrellas, sun loungers, water attractions, cafes. Diving is in great demand. In the vicinity there are wonderful wild beaches, the further from the village, the fewer people and more breathtaking views. Shiroka Balka has regular bus service to Novorossiysk, the village has the necessary shops, souvenirs are sold in abundance. You can buy excursions and get to know the surrounding coastal cities, their history and attractions better.
