When creating the video, I primarily relied on:
Books by Nobel laureate physicist Frank Wilczek, "The Foundations of Reality" and "The Beauty of Physics"
Theoretical physicist Michio Kaku's "The God Equation: In Search of a Theory of Everything"
Physicist Seth Lloyd's "Programming the Universe"

Summary:
People have been asking these fundamental questions of physics and philosophy for a long time. This video explores the perception of reality through the lens of science, beginning with how different living beings perceive color due to differences in photoreceptors. It then moves on to the structure of matter, describing the path from atoms to elementary particles (electrons, photons, quarks, gluons, gravitons) and quantum fields. It examines the four fundamental forces of nature (electromagnetism, the strong and weak interactions, and gravity) and their unification through Einstein's theory of relativity, where E=mc² indicates that mass is concentrated energy.
The universe is presented as a hierarchical structure from elementary particles to galaxies. Cosmic distances measured using "standard candles," Hubble's discovery of the expansion of the universe, and the concept of the Big Bang are discussed. Special attention is given to quantum entanglement ("spooky action at a distance"), black holes, where time slows to a standstill, and the holographic principle, according to which three-dimensional reality can be a projection of information recorded on a two-dimensional surface.
The video presents two competing concepts of the structure of reality. According to digital physics ("everything from a bit"), the world is discrete, like pixels on a screen, and can be described by cellular automata with simple rules. The alternative concept, "everything from a qubit," proposes that the fundamental unit is the quantum bit, existing in a superposition of states. Both theories view the universe as a self-computing system—a cosmic computer that processes information through the interactions of elementary particles.
The final section of the video unites all the themes through John Wheeler's anthropic principle of participation—the concept that observers are not merely passive spectators, but co-creators of reality. Observations and measurements influence what we perceive as objective reality. The universe is presented not as a static structure, but as a dynamic quantum process, where information and its processing may be more fundamental than matter and energy.
