Don't you think being able to use mind-reading powers to their full capabilities and in a way that benefits herself and the people she cares about is an example of intelligence? There are so many examples of Anya using her power in smart ways that it's hard to explain this in a short video.
What makes Anya a fun character isn't her humor nor her realistic childlike. It's the fact that she's shown a great ability to adapt and help out using her unique power and it all comes from her experience with her power and watching cartoons. It's a cool little element of her character to me.
