When we think of World War Two we think of the big players. But what about the small ones? In this video I'll take you to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. What happened with Luxembourgh during WW2? Nazi Germany invaded Luxembourg the 10th of May 1940. The German invasion of Luxembourg was part of Operation Fall Gelb to take over the Netherlands and Belgium as well. Luxembourg was eventually annexed by the Third Reich. Therefore, the men of Luxembourg were drafted in the German Army. In this video you will learn all you need to know about Luxembourg during WWII.
