1) About the flaws in the video:
As some smart people have corrected, PNP and NPN transistors are all open without power at the base.
Does the arrow indicate the direction of the current, so how do I understand the polarity of its power supply?
This question remains largely unanswered.
2) When replicating the circuit, you need to consider the transistor's characteristics and the fact that the base is always "controlled" through a resistance (there's a formula for calculating this online).
In my version, the circuit is simplified as much as possible for clarity and ease of understanding.
