People who hang out with BMW owners, remember—it's contagious. To be more specific, it just so happened that my sister's husband and I have garages next to each other. While hanging out in the garage, he managed to catch the BMW bug from me, and one fine day, our ranks grew. Meet the 1995 BMW 320 E36, with an M50B20 Vanos engine. As is often the case here, we don't sell E36s in one piece, and if we do, they fetch exorbitant prices. The car was purchased for a modest price—$1,300. That price included a broken suspension, a worn-out interior, and a rotted right side sill (the left one has already been replaced). And "thank God" the car doesn't have a sunroof, which means water from the roof doesn't drain into the sills. So the sills are rusted, but not as badly.
