How to claim the site controller and synchronize devices in AXIS Optimizer
This configuration tutorial demonstrates how to claim the site controller and synchronize devices using AXIS Optimizer.
Site controller is an on-premise management service that makes it possible for AXIS Device Manager Extend to communicate with your local devices in the Milestone XProtect system.
The site controller and the desktop client need to be installed to use AXIS Device Manager Extend in Milestone XProtect. Both the site controller and the desktop client are included in the AXIS Device Manager Extend installer.
AXIS Optimizer is an application that optimizes the performance of Axis devices in Milestone XProtect and Siemens Siveillance Video. It unlocks Axis features directly in Milestone XProtect by ensuring that administrators and operators
have access to capabilities when running Axis devices on Milestone XProtect.
