Many of these habits have already become a natural part of my life, and I've begun to behave like Italians, but there are some I still can't get used to. To gather these character traits and habits of Italians, I had to sit down and think about them, because I haven't paid attention to them for a long time; they've become so commonplace and ordinary.

1. Il silenzio imbarazzante – awkward silence. What is it?
