P2006 P2007 Audi A6 Intake Manifold Easy Fix
If you have a P2006 and/or P2007 intake manifold flap codes, this video may guide you to the most likely cause, relevant codes 008198 - P2006 and 008199 - P2007 and 008304 - P2070.
The most common cause is a cracked vacuum line — not a failed actuator or solenoid.
Where to check: follow the dipstick tube down toward the back of the engine. The vacuum line running alongside it develops a small crack that's easy to miss with the naked eye — inspect it closely with a flashlight along its full length, especially near the point where it bends.
To fix it: use a pair of long, angled needle nose pliers to reach the line without removing the intake, then splice in a new section of vacuum hose over the cracked area.
