Reset an unknown Cisco Switch password 2900/3500 series
Short tutorial on how to reset the password on a cisco switch. This is useful for situations where the password is forgotten or if the switch is purchased second hand.
My lab switch is a 3524, but this method should work for 2900 series as well as 3500 series.
