I've tested the performance of RimWorld on the Steam Deck OLED in the early game with no mods.
Overall, the game runs very well on the Steam Deck. In this early game scenario without mods, we get about 50-90 FPS and approximately 4 hours of battery life.
However, in the later stages of the game with more pawns and/or mods, the performance will likely degrade. The Steam Deck is no different in this regard.
What I really liked was the control scheme; it felt great to play the game on the Steam Deck.
What are your thoughts? Has anyone else played RimWorld on the Steam Deck? If so, what graphical settings did you use? And how did you find the controls?
