ADCC 2024 Highlights: Gordon Ryan destroys Felipe Pena with deadly submission
It wasn’t exactly the most exciting of matches, but reigning ADCC Superfight champion Gordon Ryan defeated 2017 Absolute champ Felipe Pena in their fourth meeting at ADCC 2024, earning a points victory in the first of two superfight matches. Things started off slow with Gordon and Pena not even hitting the ground for the first five minutes of the 20 minute regulation round. Ryan would grab a single leg and dump Pena on the ground, settling into half guard while Pena threatened a foot lock. That’s where the two stayed for much of the remainder of regulation.
