Screen Brightness Won't Change: 3 Ways To FIX It (Windows)
For a Quick FIX:

1. Open Settings / Display / Brightness
If you see the option
"Change brightness automatically based on lighting conditions"
Disable it
RESTART PC

2. Open the device manager
go to Monitors
a) select your monitor and disable device / unable device
b) update driver / browse my computer... / let me pick... / generic monitor
RESTART PC

3. Open the device manager
go to Display adapters
a) select you iGPU and disable device / unable device (for iGPU)
b) update driver / browse my computer... / let me pick... / "your card"
