I know it felt early enough when we were talking about 6.3 in the past few videos, and yet here we are already moving into something even bigger because today we’re diving straight into 6.4. And this time it’s not just about characters. We’re actually stepping into the brand new massive update coming to Mondstadt, looking at the 6.4 banners, who you can expect to see there, and everything we currently know about their kits. So let’s get into it.
Now, for a quick reminder about the giveaways, Both of the 6480 Genesis Crystals giveaways are still active and will stay open until November 30th. I’ll be announcing the winners on December 1st. As always, these are part of the monthly giveaways we do here on the channel — so if you haven’t joined yet, make sure you do! All you need to do is be subscribed, watch all the videos, and comment your UID and region. Two winners will be picked soon, so don’t miss your chance!
Now, let’s move into the release date for 6.4 and the timing for all the characters coming with it. On February 2nd or 3rd, we’re getting the second phase update of 6.3, which will include the Lantern Rite festival. That means tons of Primogems up for grabs, making this the perfect opportunity to stock up before 6.4 drops. As for 6.4 itself, it’s expected to release around the 25th of February, right around that exact time.
So let’s look at the 6.4 banners. On February 25th, the first new character to release will be Varka. He’s going to be a main DPS, a claymore-wielding Anemo five-star, and he’s one of the oldest characters in the game’s lore. He’s the one who appointed Jean as the Acting Grand Master, and it has basically taken the entire lifespan of the game for us to finally meet him. He will also be paired with Skirk, and you might be thinking that this is going to be a tough situation for players since many may want to pull for both. And honestly, yes, this does make things a bit harder.
