For the month of July, l'm dedicating every #TateTuesday to the beautiful girl you see on my shirt, my late cousin Taylor Ellen O'Neal who passed July 4th, 2017. When we were kids, she would literally FORCE me to sing for all of her friends, even when I didn't want to. She'd say, about my gift, "if you don't use it, you'll lose it!" Usually that would be enough to convince me to take a break from whatever game we were playing at the time to sing some song I liked for an audience of however many kids had come outside that day. Every day I wish I still had her by my side, telling me to sing, or asking me why I'm wearing so much makeup, or wondering when I'm going to let her live with me lol. We were like sisters more than cousins. Peas in a pod. Birds of a feather. This month, in her honor, I will only be singing for #TateTuesday. I hope you enjoy.
