How to create 5 basic shapes with Polygon tool [Creating Shapes Part02] [for beginners]
Illustrator Tutorial: Creating Shapes Part 02 | I just create 5 basic shapes using the same tool, same color, same process, only no. of sides are different in each shape, this is just an idea to create this kind of basic shape for beginners, there is not too much effort to create this kind of shape, but the result is very creative, through this video I am just sharing you an idea, tips, and tricks of adobe illustrator.
You can create more creative shapes after this, using different colors, place plain or gradient filler in the background, etc.

Video Guide - Steps
00:28 - SHAPE 01 - 3 Sides
00:40 - Use "Polygon tool" Sides 3
00:54 - Effects - Disort & Transform - Transform
00:59 - Horizontal & Vertical Scale 92% - 24 Copies - Angle
01:10 - You can adjust these values according to your need or looks good to you
01:50 - I adjust centre part, i think that was not absolute centre.
02:04 - Select object & "Object - Expend Appearance"
and then again "Object - Expend"
02:25 - Apply Gradient
02:54 - SHAPE 02 - 4 Sides
Now i do the same process again with 4 sided box
03:39 - SHAPE 03 - 5 Sides
04:07 - SHAPE 04 - 6 Sides
04:44 - SHAPE 05 - 7 Sides
06:00 - Select all rest 4 shapes,
"Object - Expend Appearance"
& then again "Object - Expend"
Now apply Gradient on all
