Fix “An Operating System Wasn’t Found” | Check BIOS First, Then One Click Fix
Windows shows this error:
“An operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system.”
Before repairing Windows, first check BIOS/UEFI:
1. Is the hard disk or SSD listed in BIOS/UEFI?
2. Is the Windows disk set as the first boot device?
3. Is the boot mode correct: UEFI or Legacy/CSM?
4. Disconnect extra USB drives or external disks.
