Today we are talking about Chenk Kai-Shek, the most influential and important figure in Taiwan's history, or at least contemporary history. To some, he is looked upon as a national hero and someone that saved Taiwan from becoming taken over by Mao Zedong and the communist, to others, he is seen nowadays as a cruel authoritarian that did more harm to Taiwan than good.
In this video, I walk around the beautiful Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall I also take a quick walk to check out the 228 Peace Memorial Park.
