Raspberry Pi 3D Graphics: Support for external graphics cards?Is RPi 5 fast enough?PCIe x4 on RPi 6?
Raspberry Pi 5 is getting old and can't keep up with ever more powerful classic micro PCs and mini PCs. Major updates for Raspberry Pi 6 are needed:
-Will Raspberry Pi 6 support external graphics cards out of the box?
-Are we going to be able to attach an external graphics card through a USB 3.2 port?
-Is Raspberry Pi 6 getting PCIe x4 or even PCIe x8?
-Will there be more powerful processing cores or a more powerful graphic core on RPi 6?

There are of course drivers and interfaces for Raspberry Pi 5 for certain graphics cards (such as those made by AMD), but they are still unreliable and they can't achieve full performance on Raspberry Pi 5 due to the relatively slow PCIe x1 Gen 3 bus. I hope that Raspberry Pi 6 brings a faster PCIe bus option, at least PCIe x4 or PCIe x8 Gen 3 or Gen 4.
