✗ synopsis
in kingdom of rust & gold, briar gray and leander holland find themselves on opposite sides of a brutal civil war. they're enemies, and the conflict consumes their lives. amongst all the death and chaos, they're drawn together and secretly fall in love. but in order to end the bloodshed, briar plans to tie her royal blood to a pretender, before her cousin jasper can cause any more harm.
