Join Shane and Maud from SEQ Campers as they breathe new life into one of the first ten Kimberley Karavans built in Australia in 2006! This hybrid off-road Karavan is about to undergo a massive upgrade, featuring modern additions like solar panels, lithium batteries, and cutting-edge power systems from Redarc, Enerdrive, and more.
In this video, we begin the process by evaluating the Karavan’s current condition and discussing the enhancements we'll be making— from a new McHitch, upgraded brakes, composting toilet, and custom bike racks to a brand new interior with mood lighting, modern kitchen, and revamped sleeping arrangements.
