Prof. Wolff responds to the latest from the Trump administration. Executive Orders were recently announced that take away from workers the very last bit of freedoms they've had. Capitalism has revealed its iron fist. Trump has empowered employers to demand that workers return to work. Any refusal of the employees will mean loss of jobs and even more egregious, unemployment insurance can be withheld. Orders from the highest authority in the country were given to safeguard the interests of capitalists, but no matching orders were given to employers to make workplaces safe for workers.
