Everyone at some point feels TRAPPED in their environment. Be it a job, relationship or any other situation that makes your life unbearable. YET, we are here to give you a new perspective on it!

This week we sat down to talk to Urara Takaseki, CEO / Co-founder of Omotete, Inc., PhD student at The University of Tokyo, President / Co-founder of nonprofit organization Anchor, Vice President / Co-founder of nonprofit organization Your School, a former model and a 3-times One Young World Ambassador in Japan who knows what it’s like to change the environment frequently and finds her unique strength in doing so.

Traditionally, changing the environment is not something that is welcomed in Japanese society and workplaces, as loyalty and long-term relationships were historically always of a higher value than notions like pursuing your own happiness and individualistic career goals. And though Japan is changing a lot these days, no one canceled the fear of change. Urara shares her journey of constantly being a foreigner, a newbie in a different environment or the only girl in the room and the powerful lessons she learned from those experiences.

Tune in more to learn from our powerful, yet perfectly vulnerable guest!
TSOM wants you to watch it and FINALLY change the picture you don’t like 😉
