Using Hand Signals During a Jam Session - GroMusic's School of Jam
We know it's happened to you before at a jam session - you're playing a song with a bunch of people, and suddenly nobody knows where in the song they're supposed to be! Everyone is playing different chords - some are playing in the verse while others are still stuck in a chorus. This is definitely not fun, and it sure doesn't leave any room for soloing or improv.
