Yes, ideally, a bathroom should be in the house, but as is common in our countries, summer cottages are very small, and no one planned to put a toilet and shower in them in the 90s. Now, there's no proper area in the house for a bathroom, so we built a separate toilet and shower for the summer, since the old buildings are too scary to look at.
I won't be able to use them this summer, but I'll be able to do everything as I wanted, and next year, starting early spring, I'll be able to come and use the separate shower and toilet.
Next year, I'll be building a relaxation area and a cooking area at the dacha, and everything will be done in a similar style.
