Fate/EXTRA CCC Pt1 | Prologue & Rin Dungeon [English] [Male Protag & Saber]
Thanks so much to Iwakura Productions for the English translation. This playthrough will be with a male protagonist and with Saber. I'll do the normal and the CCC route. The game is long, so I'm not going to do other playthroughs with female protagonist or with the other characters for now. I hope Iwakura is getting progress on Devil Summoner, that's a really fun dungeon crawler I'd enjoy showing you all in English!
As for this game, it's not a musou or Warriors-like game like the recent Fate releases. Instead it has its own combat system with a guard, attack, or break triangle system, with the gameplay playing more like Persona 3 or 4 in terms of the dungeon crawling and relationships with characters. It's a pretty refreshing game. It sticks to its visual novel roots with extremely lengthy cutscenes and a lot of scenes are admittedly cheesy but it's pretty fun to see some of the characters that only appear in this game. I'm surprised that this was a PSP game released in 2013 when the Vita had already been out.
